Found these 3D built images by Hock on Behance Network today, just had to post it, normally not a big fan of the fictional movie looking stuff, but these just made me smile. More of Hock’s work can be found here.

UPDATE: April 9 2009 – After looking at these for a couple of days now, I am not certain I like the first image so much. I think the closeups do a better job for me of portraying a knot something that is confused or confusing. the first image is too computer game like in away.

After several lectures at schools around the USA over the last years as well as being invited as a guest lecturer and critic at schools like Rhode Island School of Design, Chicago Art Institute, Philadelphia University of the Arts and California College of Arts among others.
