Yesterday I saw the Zink Magazine ‘Raw Flesh’ cover feature by Clayton Cubitt on designboom.com. Today I found many more photos by Clayton that range from art to commercial to photos of Hurricane Katarina (see below). There are many different styles of photography in this one portfolio. I’m posting some from the Commissioned selection on Clayton’s website, to give you an idea of the different types of work.
The idea of the ‘Raw Flesh’ shoot is beautiful, I am just not very taken by most of them. The one I do really think is interesting and really strange, is the one posted at the top of this post. Probably I find it interesting because the bones layed on the model and the flesh of the model are the same colour, thus the bones look like the belong there as implants.
