Richard Sweeney and Liam Hopkins of Manchester-based design studio Lazerian designed these pieces of jewellery (and more) recently. Inspired by the animals and the sea creatures which were discovered by the famous German biologist Ernst Haeckel in the late 1800’s. Lazerian Studio came up with these different very constructed bracelets. All made out of polypropylene in different whites, blacks and greys. I posted my favourite pieces above. There are a couple that I think are a bit too much and less poetic, which I posted below. There is something about these white ones over the black ones that is subtle even though the forms have a high level of complexity. It’s the translucency of the polypropylene I think.
The first bracelet is called the Thriarthrus Bangle, the second one: Strophomena Bangle and the Third: Hexinastrum Bangle.
